Ministry signs MOU with Probation Department

Acting Chief Probation Officer, Ms. Denise Agard, visited the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Community Empowerment’s headquarters at Sky Mall, Haggatt Hall to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) pertaining to the Ministry’s Youth Support Hotline.

Ms. Agard, along with Director of Youth Affairs, Mr. Cleviston Hunte, signed the MOU on Wednesday, March 6th, 2024. Witnessing the signing were Acting Principal Youth Development Officer, Mrs. Andrea Titus, Youth Commissioner, Mr. Charles Husbands and Youth Programme Consultants Mr. Naeem Johnson and Ms. Adriana Waithe.

The Ministry is pleased to onboard the Probation Department as another stakeholder with the Youth Support Hotline.

The Youth Support Hotline is an initiative created to provide a safe space for persons to call anonymously and speak to trained professionals.
