In celebration of the first cohort of Project Protégé, a Mix and Mingle Reception was held at the Jean & Norma Holder Hospitality Institute, Hotel PomMarine on Sunday, March 17th, 2024.

Mentors, mentees and parents all gathered together to celebrate the successes over the last year since the launch of the programme.

Mentor, Liesel Daisley said: “I want to once again thank Project Protege and by extension the Ministry of Youth for the opportunity to mentor young persons because it has truly helped me to grow and it has truly helped me to mature”.

Minister Griffith also thanked the mentors who signed up and added: “you are the first mentors of this particular programme and you had an opportunity for the first time on a mentorship project of this nature on island to be able to shape lives.”
